Web player GUI only appears on fullscreen?

Ok so i'm testing my game on the web player, and the GUI doesn't appear unless its full screen. Also, when I go full screen and then go back to normal, some of the GUI appears but its in the wrong place. Whats up with that?

The same things happen when I am in the unity editor, I can't see GUI in webplayer mode. There isn't a fullscreen version in Unity so I can't ever see the GUI.
