I am currently working on a 3-D platformer and am running into an odd problem
Basically what is going on, I duplicated some of my enemies, everything seems to be exactly the same between each enemy....yet the duplicated enemies don't deal damage to the player like the originals and I can't figure out why. Does anyone have a list of things I should go over to figure this out or any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
During run time, check if the duplicated enemies have the exact same components with the exact settings as the original. Also, make sure the enemy prefab is the same as the original enemy.
Are you doing collision detection by gameobject name? Do your duplicates have the "(Clone)" suffix?
During run time the enemies stuff if exactly the same as the original, they do not hold the Clone suffix, I literally just copy and pasted them because they were generic enemies. I'm still pretty new to all this Unity stuff . Should my enemies be prefabs like, say bullets?
you should post your damage script so we know how damage is applied.
Currently at work. Will post the script when I get home for you guys to see if you can make sense of it.
