Humanoid Animation type character position problem, Generic work fine
Hello. I'm having issues importing walking animation from Maya FBX to Unity. When it just imported with Generic anim type everything looks fine, but when i switch to humanoid character pelvis going down to ground level and moving on place. In place animation (Idle) works fine, problem only with locomotion. All bones baked.

Manage to find solution in some Docs...
Maya in some rare cases messes up the node history, which sometimes results in models not exporting correctly. Fortunately you can very easily fix this by selecting Edit->Delete All by Type->History.
Fixed pelvis, but still have problem with facing forward (now it's 180 on Z and ~ -10 on X, but moving correctly).

Sounds like you need to check out your Root motion settings and bake into pose one of the axes in the animation tab for your locomotion - you can read more here:
