HandHeld video compression setting doesn't work in editor?
So trying to get my ipa/apk under 50MB...
I have 6 movies averaging 4MB (with unity compression) so total for video should be 24MB. These are stored in StreamingAssets folder. When I build the ipa it comes out to 115MB and when I open up the ipa. the Data > Raw folder has 6 mp4 totalling 85MB (the uncompressed video size 14MB each).
Is this a bug or am I missing a step?
Will be good to hear anyone elses experience, thanks.
did you ever find a solution for this? I have been struggling with the same issue.
It seems as though these files are never compressing even in .ipa form. I have about 113$$anonymous$$Bs of videos in the strea$$anonymous$$g assets folder and they are even adding 113$$anonymous$$Bs to the resultant .ipa file!

This is a bug I believe. I ended up not setting any compression in Unity and just using handbrake to get them as small as possible.
