How to transfer saved data from mobile to PC and back?

Locally. Say the player comes home and wants to play their mobile game on a PC version by transferring saved data from their mobile device to their desktop computer and then back again. Is this possible?

Sure it's possible! But the crux is I guess- specifically what platforms, and what saved data? There is GameCenter for iOS and (soon) for MacOS. That could be useful for saving at least rankings, buddy lists, etc. It's not local. There are also some relevant plugins available, for example Nectar Sync see prime31 unity plugin Or if you are running your own server, you can save game state data to there. Again, not "local". I would say tracking users across devices/platforms is harder than actually saving/restoring game state!

Thank you very much. We plan on nearly all platforms. So from iOS to PC might be a bit stingy would it not?

Yeah if you are planning on supporting many platforms, I cant imagine how it would all work locally. Just save player's saved data to a database server somewhere? :)

Yeah that's what the $$anonymous$$m and I decided. Thank you for the link for those plugins!! And thank you for the assistance!
