Unity Blob shadow projector massive tris amount, why?
QUESTION: I'd love to understand why the amount of tris is almost the same for realtime shadows as it's for shadow projector and why it's so huge amount. On the screenshot below you can see stats window with projector ON and projector OFF

EXPLANATION: I decided to switch from realtime shadows to unity Projector
In one of my scenes I have around 30 gameobjects that should cast shadows. All of them now use BlobShadowProjector from Standard Assets/Effects/Projectors/Prefabs/BlobShadowProjector

The projector just duplicates any meshes it hits and re-renders them with the supplied projection shader and data - hence the increase in tris.
