Increase jump height/distance

I'm using the robot character from the Unity Assets Character animation example project (http://unity3d.com/support/resources/example-projects/character-animation). I need to increase the robot characters jumping ability but I can't figure out how to go about doing this. Perhaps this is something that is predefined in the character controller? any help would be greatly appreciated.
