So... this is not good. so have you tried going through the unity website to get into the asset store or were you doing it in your unity game engine?

Agent101, Please don't post comments as answers. Post comments by clicking the [add new comment] button, a window then open for you to type in. The error is in Unity, and all you can do is check your internet connection, check your firewall rules, check your antivirus, check your cache is clear, try again. This seems to be similar to this problem : http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/413988/a-broblem-with-asset-store.html . Check the advice there, or send a bug report through the Unity interface.

Hi there!

I had the same (a similar error?) error for the longest time: When I tried to connect to the Asset Store, I got the error: **"Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates url: https://kharma.unity3d.com/"**

I fixed it now. Turned out to be a problem with ESET Smart Security, though deactivating the firewall and vircheck did not help at first.

Here's the solution to a windows update error that I also had. Quote:

Go into ESET Advanced Setup. Web and email -> Web access and antiphishing protection -> HTTP,HTTPS HTTPS scanner setup -> HTTPS filtering mode Select "Do not use HTTPS protocol checking"

Turns out, it also fixed the problem with the Unity Asset Store.

Hope this helps.
