Keep focus on several windows at a time
Hi !
Here is my problem:
I have a fullscreen application running on my second monitor (which is an oculus btw) and i have a windowed application running on my main monitor
Both application are made with Unity and linked through Network so i can update parameters in my oculus app with my windowed app
When i'm on the full screen application and i click on the windowed one on the other monitor, the fullscreen app goes down
I guess it's because i lose focus on the window. I tried with both windows set to windowed and it doesn't create the problem. I'm already using the 'run in background' option.
How do i keep focus on both windows ?
this isnt a unity problem is specific to what operating system you are on and if you are on windows you cant use other tabs when a full screen window is open
Uh, that's a shame :/
@PvTGreg : when you say tabs, you include different screens i guess ?
well having tabs on separate screens really dosent changing it as teh extra screens are more or less just an extension not separate

You have to launch both applications in windowed mode, otherwise the full-screen app will minimize when losing focus. Try with "-popupwindow" command line argument on your full-screen app, it will launch your application in a borderless window.
Thanks :) I'll try that in a moment and i'll tell you what happened !
$$anonymous$$e again, it's not working. But i wonder if it's not because of the oculus, in thing despite i choose to launch it in windowed mode, since it's not really a screen, it may have it's own little piece of code that makes sure it's fullscreen.
I'll try to find a second monitor to give it a try !
