If anyone here has used the Playground Project to make a game before, how would I have an enemy follow the player while still having gravity apply to said enemy?
I am learning Unity through the Playground Project, and I am trying to have a giant spider chase the player. However, whenever the player jumps it begins flying after them without any gravity applied. Also, if the player jumps over them, instead of turning around they just rotate onto their head to face the player. As terrifying and comedic as these things are, I would prefer for my spider to abide by the laws of physics, and RigidBody doesn't seem to be doing the trick. I've attached a screenshot of the RigidBody and FollowPlayer scripts below.
I don’t know what is in that Follow Player script, but it is likely overriding the rigidbody. For example, if you translate to move your spider vs use AddForce() to the rigidbody in the said direction, than this is not using the rigidbody for movement. But it’s impossible to know without seeing that script
