Need Hinge Joint to interact with only one object, but still collide with others
Hey there, I have two characters with rigidbodies using addforce. I'd like character 1 to be able to open physics based doors using hinges, but not character 2. I got the hinge working perfectly with character 1, but character 2 just comes in and messes it all up when it touches the door. I'd like character 2 to be blocked by the door, but not affect the hinge joint like it is right now. I've looked all over the place, but it seems the only way to do this would be to apply an opposite force to character 2 whenever it collides with the door, so it just never has enough force to push the door open. Is this correct or am I missing a simpler solution? Thanks!
