Are there any reasons to not use Text Mode in the Asset Serialization?
Are there any reasons to use Mixed Mode?

I think Text Mode is better suited if you're using a source control repository (like Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc), being the text files easier to check and merge. At least I always use Text Mode if I have to use a source repository (that is ever).
agreed, but the question is, are there any reasons for not using it. Why should I ever want to use binary or mixed.
As written in the documentation: "Unity can store scenes in a more space efficient binary format". So it depends on your need, if you use a repository with more people in a $$anonymous$$m I'd use Text $$anonymous$$ode, else Binary.
