Compound Collider Issue
Hey all, having an issue with a compound collider. In my scene I have:
A rigged character. Every object is on PLAYER layer
A test cylinder which has a Rigidbody and Capsule Collider. It also has a script attached which logs out what collided with it. It's on ENEMY layer
I've attached a couple of gameobjects containing a capsule collider to his hierarchy to represent his right foot and right shin (they are flagged as Kinematic)
The issue I'm experiencing, is depending on which parent I attach the Rigidbody to, it may or may not return a collision (and also physically collide with the cylinder).
For example, attaching the Rigidbody to the PLAYER or ROOT object, results in no collision between the characters foot and the cylinder, while every other object (SPINE, HIPS, TEST_CHARACTER) results in a collision (foot kicks cylinder, knocks it over and cylinder logs collision message).
Why is this inconsistent ? I'm using Unity 2017.3.0f3
Thanks for any ideas!
