New To Unity: 2D Top Down Tricks
Hello there. I'm coming over to Unity from a GMS and UDK. I'm looking at tackling a top down 2D game with the old 3/4 graphic styling of Final Fantasy and the like. Are there any community plugins worth investing in that will make life easier? or is it all really OOB? Thanks for viewing. Appreciate it.
what does OOB stand for in this context?
2DToolkit is used very widely for anything 2D. even in 3D games it's inevitably used for all 2D needs
it's probably worth posting a small screen shot of the look you want, as nobody ever has a clue what version, etc, is meant when someone quotes a game
Just BTW "community plugins" Unity is more of a money-oriented space, everything has a price tag. :) just click to the asset store and buy what you need.
