Beast Lightmapping Bad Shadows
Well I have this problem with my shadows in light mapping. I can't really explain it so here is my problem:

Anyways if you need more info, let me know because I've hit the image posting limit but I have all my settings saved.
P.S. My shadow distance is at 3 and the quality is set to High.

Have you tried turning up the sampling? You need to have more sampling for soft shadow. Low sampling will produce these grid-dy shadow edge.
