How to import asset with colon ":" in name?
Lately, I bough an asset, while trying to import, it always throw error to me telling "Failed to create folder structure".
Then after few searching, I find out that the root cause of this is because the author has put a ":" into the asset creation path, windows not allow to name a path or folder with colon thus not able to import.
I have tried using colon of other unicode, and also tried to use colon of other language, they are not working.
Did anyone face this issue before?
- Wonder do we have any option to change the importing asset name?
- Or, possibly we can download the asset from other way?
Thank you,
Have you tried reaching out to the asset creator so he changes the name? What asset is it?
IFAIK you can't change the asset before actually importing it :-/
Currently I am reaching out the asset creator, its actual the BG$$anonymous$$ asset from Karugamo, a Japanese music group, I guess they na$$anonymous$$g this is because Japanese keyboards do not treat ":" as a colon.
