GetComponentsInChildren Network Reliable
Problem/Question:
I have a scene with an Object that contains a bunch of Child Objects with certain components. These objects are NOT dynamically generated and are static in the scene.
When I compile everything and make a build and put this on different machines, will a GetComponentInChildren(true) call on the Parent object return the same array on all machines?
This is important for some Master / Client communication, that when the Master Client sends an Index to the clients, the clients can get the correct component out of the array.
I found an old post from a Unity Dev(2007) that stated that it is safe to assume, but we're now 8 years later and I was wondering if this is still a valid assumption? (Edit Link Added) LinkToPost
