Can Unity transfer UVs from a mesh to another at runtime?
Hi all!!
I searched (almost) all the internetz for that, but I can't find anything remotely related... So, I got an FBX animation of geometry chunks. I want to make little explosions at the surface of an object, with those chunks "blowing up" slowly. The object surface has a texture, so I'd like it to project it's UVS, texture and material on the fbx chunks. That would simulate a random shattering of the object geometry, with the chunks seamlessly moving away from the surface.
So, any tips on how to project a texture/uv from an object to another at runtime?
