Blender animations to Unity problems
I have created several animations in blender for my FPS arms rig but once the model is imported into unity it does not allow me to drag and drop the animations into the mecanim animator window. I know the animations themselves are working in unity as I can set them as a default animation and they will play perfectly fine however, because I have multiple animations that require playing on certain events, I require the mecanim animator.
I understand that I haven't given a large amount of information about so if there is anything missing that you need to know to help me, please tell me.

Rig type is set to Generic or Humanoid?
Can you create a state and select the Animation through the clicky selector button up the top right, in Inspector?
