Dynamic way to adjust animated sprite length
Hello, I'm making 2d animation of attack .. here is what I have in mind
I have a creature with a tentacle/tendril and want to animate its movement (I'm using anima2d with mesh deform so I can get nice organic movement) problem I have is that I can't get my head around how to adjust it to match different position of target in run time.
Basically what I want is either stretch one part of it while keeping rest of it undeformed to reach further targets.
Conditions are:
Distance between creature and target is changing
I cannot move creature or target itself while doing it, only the tentacle
Any Ideas how I could go about it ?
Ideally I would like to set coordinates of target and have animation to adjust to it in run time .. but so far haven't found a way to do something like that.
