NGUI - How to make clickable animated textures/sprites
Hi guys,
I am trying to create a GUI made up of animated textures (that is, a tile-set which makes up an animation) which are clickable, using NGUI. I've watched a number of tutorials but unfortunately none that I've come across seem to address this kind of UI. The closest thing I can think of would simply be a button with an animated texture on it which has a number of other states (other animated textures) that it can change to when clicked.
Essentially, I would like to know how to:
Put the animated texture into a form that can be dragged into the NGUI widget tool like when creating a regular button widget.
How to make an atlas of the animated texture that can be read in the correct way.
How to transition from state to state (or texture to texture), after being clicked, etc.
Any guidance here would be great.
Thanks
