Multiple Unity Embeds Slow

Hi,

I've been looking at embedding >1 web player in a page, very simple scenes just displaying a diffuse material cube. The issue I'm having is after the first page embed, any more absolutely kills the browser responsiveness. A framerate counter in the Unity content still has a steady framerate but it's a good 5 seconds before even a right mouse click responds.

Has anyone tried doing this and had the same issue? any workarounds greatly appreciated. I'm currently seeing this on IE9.
