Splat maps
This must have been asked sooo many times before, But every time I see one, the answers always say "oooh, buy this terrain toolkit, or this shader for "only" 60 dollars"
The thing is, I watched a realtevley new video about unity's terrain, I think it might even been about unity 5. The guy there was imporitng from World machine and he used some trick to "expose" the splatmap after he painted 2 textures on it. Then he simply replaced that existing one with the one he ipšorted from World Machine.
... So, what is your question? Is it about the "trick"? Have you tried asking the guy directly?
