[Meta] Question missing - was it intentional?
I wrote what I thought was a fairly detailed and specific question regarding animations not applying when a 3rd Person Controller was used in conjunction with mesh scaling.
It was marked as awaiting moderation (fair enough) and a few refreshes later, I got a message telling me Unity Answers was down for maintenance.
When the site came back, I no longer had any questions listed in my profile (although I still have a badge for editing it).
I'm not sure if it failed moderation for some reason, was lost in a database rollback or something else entirely?
This site seems to be based on the Stack Exchange network which I'm very familiar with. Over there, a user can see their own deleted questions to see deletion reasons (or at least understand what's happening). Is the same true here?
If not, would someone with sufficient privileges please tell me what (if anything) was wrong with the question.
As an aside, being a complete newbie to both Unity and UA, it's not the most encouraging start. If it's in error, no worries. If, on the other hand, it was a problem with the question, I strongly recommend that a close/delete reason (or even an automated email) would help clarify the situation and avoid questions like these.
Thanks
I a "moderator," but whenever I go through the moderator Q, I'm just lost. I don't know if the little "send a comment" button goes to the person who posted the Q, or in a moderator log. And the last few months, clicking it just scrolls to the top of the page and nothing else.
I can't even find the rules for deleting posts (I only delete duplicates and obvious spam.)
I'm not even sure I'm supposed to. One day the little "moderation(27)" thing popped up, and I was like "Oh cool -- revered with Empyreal Legion gets you a new daily."
Actually they've 'fixed' the message button (see this answer). Now it actually opens a commenting box, but clicking 'send' doesn't seem do anything...

Welcome! Was this your question? I'm going through the mod queue right now.
This site is quite a bit more informal than Stack Overflow, which is both good and bad. We have a much smaller user base, which means moderation tends to be less consistent and timely. On the bright side, we're a bit more liberal in terms of what we're able to accept.
It was indeed, thank you very much. I hadn't realised that while it was waiting moderation, it wasn't shown on my profile at all.
