Problem with animations after updating to Unity 5...
So I'm making an education type game and have been working on it for months now, one level consists of a sentence sliding in at the top with buttons sliding in at the bottom and a picture sliding in at the middle(this is all one game object) and the buttons are basically answers like lets say true or false, I wrote scripts to control the game(slide the questions randomly and check off the asked questions) and slide out everything when the correct one is clicked and slide in a game object I made thats just a correct panel with a next button and vice versa for the incorrect button except the incorrect button doesn't slide out the correct answer only the picture. Thats al not really relevant I guess I'm just trying to paint the problem clearly. See when I was working with unity 4 everything was sliding in together with perfect timing and sliding out perfectly. When I first updated it and the animations weren't working at all I unchecked apply root motion that made it work, but its still messed up. It's laggy to say the least. The first button will slide down then the correct panel will slide in then the other button will slide down or something along those lines and here's the thing, I get a different result every time I test it. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Alright So I kind of fixed it, although it's not like it was it's A LOT better, what I did was in the each of the transitions between animations I unchecked exit time, and that seemed to give it more of an automatic smooth feeling
