Screenshot Post Effects on Android not working?

I have tried 3 different methods (render texture, application.screenshot, and directly readpixels), and while each method is allowing me to save a texture to disk, post effects are only applied when running from the editor on a PC. the image saved on android is without any post effects no matter which method i use.

what is going on?
