Unity 5 External editor bug

When choosing the Visual studio 2013 professional .exe in the preferences window and opening up a code file the window with "Opening Visual studio" shows up but Monodevelop is opened instead of visual studio and the loading window keeps displaying it's really irritating. Does anyone else have this and maybe knows how to fix this ?
