play animation forward and then in reverse
Ive created a model in maya its a lantern that has an animation, a door that swings open, ive saved it and imported it into unity and all works well, the animation currently just opens the door id like it to then close (play the animation in reverse), ive found a good answer to this here the third answer looks like the best one however it requires me to use an animator and i didnt get one when i imported my animations, so ive created a new one, added my animation to it, and attached it to my model, now the animator shows its being triggered but the animation isnt being played, any ideas? im very new to animators so any help would be great ive added images for the states and my animator and the code im using is identical to the code on the link

tried to apply ping pong to wrap mode but it doesnt seem to work, thanks for the heads up though hadnt heard of this before
