HingeJoint2d
Hi all I am having trouble setting up some hinge joint 2d to create a bucket attached to an helicopter like the one use to extinguish big fires .
i did the helicopter parent and all chain children of one another and the bucket at the end like this :
>chain2 >chain3 >chain4 bucket hinge joint 2d on each member with the parent above as connected rigid body and on last the bucket i had a distance joint too, with max distance turn on like in the unity video tutorial. i set the mass of the bucket higher with a little drag . now when i start play and move the helicopter the chain doesn't work and all the object start contracting up on top of each other with a spring like physics . Am I doing something wrong ? does hinge joint don't like be attached to a moving object? any help would be appreciated i ll attach an image of what i am trying to do ![alt text][1] [1]: /storage/temp/41492-download-4.jpgship chain1
