New UI rotating speedometer?

Is there a tutorial for creating a speedometer with the new UI system? I mean one with a rotating needle, not a digital one. If not, does anyone know how to do it? I used to be able to do it with the old GUI system, but it became outdated, so I need to convert some things (or start from scratch altogether).

Pointers in the right direction, or code examples are greatly appreciated.
