Do i need to turn on unity multiplayer in order to properly use Photon PUN 2?

I want to make a multiplayer game using Photon PUN 2 free version. This is my first time making a multiplayer game. Do I need to turn on the unity multiplayer service in the services tab in order for photon PUN 2 to work? Can't seem to find any info on this.
