How to see water from a long distance
I am making a 3D City Model, but i have a problem with the water. As it is a model\simulation, i need everything to be seen from a LOONG distance. I already set the terrain's detail distance to max, tried to change some configurations, but i don't know what to do.
When i zoom in in the water (a few meters from it) you can see it with all the reflection,textures,movement, etc... But it doesn't work when i zoom out (lots of meters away). The water just "vanish", and i can barely see a blue THING glitching and clipping in the terrain. It's pretty annoying, and i can't show my city with the water in the way it is, because it covers almost all the city surroundings.
$$anonymous$$ore information needed - what material/shader are you using? LOD?
I am going to check that later, i am a little busy right now.
@tanoshimi The shader is FX\Water4
I am using the standard water shader
When nothing works, try to scale down the model and the camera will be closer.
I needed to see the water from a long distance pretty well. I don't know what to do. I need to show the city model\simulation next week, and all i need to do is to fix this bug, but i can't find a way to do it =\
