bake point light into
Hi,
Is it possible to bake a single point light into the inside of a house.
Here is how my scene looks like, it is an interior of a complex house. I want to put lighting inside (point light) but that makes the game play really slow. The house model is quite big.
What I want is to bake the point light effect into the scene so that it doesn't have to happen in real time. I dont really care much about the shadows. I just want the place look well lit.
I have tried lightmapping, but the results isn't exactly what I currently see in my scene view. What I want to happen is I want how the point light is lighting up everything in my scene to be baked. Whenever I hit on bake in lightmapping, it cast all those shadows and I get uneven lightings on walls.
The whole house is set to static by the way. I have tried changing settings as well. From turning off and on the shadows for the light. Change the mode from single to dual.
And i'm using unity free
