Exported .APK for Android does not follow the Quality Settings in Unity.
I exported my Unity scene as an .APK and ran it on my phone but found out it was too graphically intense. I went into the Quality settings in Unity and changed all the settings around but no matter what I do, whether it be disabling shading or changing the textures the 1/8th resolution, the exported APK remains the exact same settings with full shading and full resolution textures. Is the Quality setting just for Unity itself (because in my Game window it certainly follows the Quality, just not when I build the scene)? Thank you.

Are you sure you selected the quality setting you modified as being the default quality setting for android?
No because I'm an idiot. That was the problem, thanks, I misunderstood how the green check marks work. I just thought as long as the title of the quality "Good" matched with any checkmark under the Android column, it'd just take it at face value and do that. I just moved it from Simple to Good and bam; worked great.
