Scale fit?
So here, i have an car tire and i want to put a rim into it, is there any way to make unity detect required scale to make it fit?
Thanks
If you're modelling the rim yourself and you've already modelled the tire yourself, then you should just keep the size of the rim proportional with the tire - that is using the same scale for height, width, depth.
If that isn't the case - No, not what I know of.
Are you modelling them yourself? Because then you could load in the tire model and "draw" the rim besides it to make it fit.
Otherwise if you load both models into a Scene you can always adjust the Scale until you're satisfied. I suppose you have to do it the hard way.
i am not modeling them myself, what about bounds i think they could help somehow?
$$anonymous$$ake a bounding box around the tire and scale the rim after it. Try it out and let me know how you progress. :-)

You can use Bounds to make a bounding box around the Tire and then scale the rim after it.
For the specific code, see the comments above.
