Mesh slicing or shattering

I am currently looking for a free non-pro way to shatter or slice a gameobject or mesh. It can either be a script or some other form Already created item, or you can try to teach me.

There's no available "catch-all" script that slices or shatters arbitrary meshes for you, probably because what you're asking is actually quite a lot more complicated than you might think. The easiest way to shatter something is probably to load the model into a modeling program like Blender or 3D$$anonymous$$ax, and then design an animation that replaces the original mesh with a bunch of shards or chunks or whatever you want after it shatters, and then animate those to have them fall to the ground or something, depending on your game. Doing this in code is quite hard.

True, but 150 bucks isn't "free". ;)
