Screen sleeping messes with my game.

I'm making an android game. There's one thing bothering me.

When the screen sleeps or if someone intentionally locks the screen by pressing lock button, the buttons in the UI stop responding. How do I get this over with?

I don't want the screen getting locked to mess with my game.
