Problems with car controls
I'm fiddling around with car controls with just a cube on a plane and am having some problems I can't figure out.
First of all, when I have wheels on it with a wheel, the wheels either don't bounce or bounce back up but hover above the ground depending on the settings. I can't have it to bounce a bit but sit back on the ground.
Secondly, when my "car" moves with the wheels with the colliders on, it gets launched up and flies away. Sometimes it does a barrel roll as though it's a plane which lightens up the situation but it's still mildly annoying.
Thirdly, I've placed a wall around the entire plane but my car goes so fast (I think?) that the colliders bug out or something and it just flies through the entire wall and starts spinning in the air.
If you need the components or code for any of these objects, I'll post them. (Keep in mind the code is all in the "car" and the wheels haven't been programmed to do anything just yet)
Could you explain more about how the car is set up? What colliers does it use? Do any of the colliers overlap? Do you use physics materials?
Did you check the mass value and the other values? Angular drag etc.
