Projector and (ignoring) layers
Hi,
I am just playing around and trying things to get comfortable with Unity (of course with something specific in mind ). I am banging my head about something I simply don't understand, and it seems not logical to me. Maybe somebody can give me a little hint what I either understand wrong or where I could dig deeper to get things going...
Simple scene: terrain, a road mesh (generated by EasyRoads), and a cube with a texture. I have two projectors: a grid and a light blob, both positioned on the same height.
Question 1: Why is the grid not projected onto the cube? The light blob correctly shows up on all objects/terrain, and both projectors are configured the same way.
Question 2: The road is assigned to a separate layer. Now I restrict both projectors to that layer. The grid is all gone now (should still be projecting onto the road, right?), and the light blob is correctly restricted to the road only, but appears to be much weaker in that area.
Any explanations to that? I am so eager to learn how things fit together
