Custom pivot point is not working for 2D sprite
I did set my custom pivot point in the sprite editor, and clicked apply. Then i drag the part into the scene, the pivot point remains center.

Have you got this button:
Set to Center or Pivot?
I did not realize it was such a simple thing but thanks for your answer
That's O$$anonymous$$ @TonsOfFun, I see you're fairly new around here so I'll give you a couple of pointers, not nagging just trying to help :¬)
First you put this as an answer not a comment, don't worry I've converted it to a comment. Answers should just be for the actual answer, although if you find the answer yourself it's fine to tick your own answer correct. And on that subject if it answered your issue then click on the tick to mark the answer correct, it gives both of us a small amount of $$anonymous$$arma points but also stops others from trying to answer a "fixed" question and helps people with similar issues find the right answer.
But hey, glad it helped, wish I'd asked on here when I was trying to work out how to move the pivot myself, took me hours to find that button!
wel posting as answer or comment was not clearly to me, there is only 1 small link what you can click to post a comment and a very big component to post an answer, so i overlooked it sorry :D
man! thanks for the answer! its very helpfull
sorry for bad english^^

In case someone like me searches for a similar problem:
I could not get the anchor to move so I tried the solution of using an Empty GameObject and put the sprite as a child to a position I can rotate it where I want. Works great.
