Unity 2017.2.1.p2 will not load projects...

Hello fellow creators! I have been experiencing a lot of trouble with Unity 2017.2.1.p2 loading up my projects. I am working on windows 10 that is up to date with all of the correct drivers. I can start up Unity and go to the "Open Project" screen...alt text

but once I get to this stage and click on one of my projects, the project never loads. I had this same problem on 2017.1 and it was never solved. Some days it would load, some days it wouldn't. With my current version, however, my projects never load up. I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling yet, but I am trying to figure out what the problem is before I just go ahead and do that. I'm not sure if this is a problem with my pc, or if it is a problem with unity itself. Thank you for taking your time to look over this and if you have any help, please let me know.

PC Specs: Intel Core i5-7600k, 8 gbs 2333mhz ram, NVidia GTX-1060 6 gb, 120gb SSD Drive (Where Unity Is Installed),

Did you try to delete Library and Temp folders and opening project again?

@TanselAltinel I just did this, but it didn't help anything, the project still never loads up

Hard to say without access to the PC but here are some things to try;

  1. Run as administrator (if you haven't already).

  2. Check windows event viewer to see if there's a specific error.

  3. Download Unity Hub (Beta).

  4. Give it plenty of time to load. Sometimes large projects just take a while.

I had a bunch of issues with the old unity launcher and 2017.2.1.2p but hub + 2018 seems to have sorted them. They are BETA though so there could be other issues but I have yet to encounter any.

I have tried all of the above solutions, including letting the project load overnight, but it has not worked at all, thanks for the help anyways! I really appreciate your time!

Sorry to hear that. I would look at submitting a bug report in that case and potentially uninstalling and reinstalling.
