Problem with terrain in rawimage
Hey,
So my mate and I are playing around with a few concept ideas in Unity Pro 4.6.1f1, and what we're trying is a split screen UI/3D app.
The main view is the 2D UI, and then we have a separate camera with the 3D objects in-front of it. This camera then projects to a RenderTexture, which is applied to a RawImage in the UI canvas.
This works really well, HOWEVER, the terrain is invisible. The terrain object shape clips the skybox, and anything else, but is not visible itself.
Here's a quick example to show you what I mean http://morbius.info/Example.zip. It's got us stumped.
Also we just did this again, and now the cube culls from the skybox too. Sigh
