Adding new UI elements to a UI in real game time?
Hi there!
I'm working on a 2D platform based game that has a "Note Scroll" bar in the bottom center of the UI, that functions similar to a Guitar Hero "Note Scroll", except the notes spawn from right to left not top from bottom. I have it mostly working accept for one key feature, spawning notes based of the songs BPM!
I thought it would be as simple as "Instantiate GameObject" attached to spawn rate, but the notes spawn outside the UI in the Hierarchy. Apparently, you can't create UI GameObject elements using this method. And in all honesty, my experience with UI's is very minimum so I'm not sure were to go from here.
Any idea's or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
