How to detect swipe on an Android device using javascript?

In my game, the player needs to brush away objects in the screen. For the player to do this, I need to know how to detect a swipe in a certain area of the screen using javascript code(I don't understand c#). I don't need much. I just need to know when the player's finger is moving back and forth. Please help.
