rigidbody unwanted bouncing on during movement
I am doing some tests and was using a cube to try to get the proper movement but it doesn't seem to be working properly. I place a rigidbody cube with on top of a cube with collides and I want the cube to slide along the surface. When using AddForce the cube doesn't move at all and when I use transform.translate it moves but it is really rough. There is a fair amount of bouncing that I don't want.
A few things I should note as far as limitations. The project I am making uses inclined surfaces that I want the collider to take into account, e.g., facing upwards on an incline.

Try giving one or both of the colliders a PhysicMaterial with no friction.
If AddForce isn't causing movement, the friction was probably too high, so decrease friction and/or increase the force.
I tried this and got for the most part the same result, while the cube slides better it is still shaking quite a bit. I'd say half of what it was before. But I set all the values for both surfaces to zero.
Any other ideas?
Nothing else comes to $$anonymous$$d. If you make a small project with just your movement code and put it on google drive, I'll take a look at it for you.
