Is currently possible to compile a Vuforia example into UWP and execute it as a standalone app?
I've been following this tutorial to build one of the Vuforia examples from the Unity Asset Store and I've successfully generated the universal windows platform project from Unity build.
Then I've executed in Debug inside Visual Studio 2017 with the green play button and the computer loads the app but I don't have any webcam installed on my PC but that's not a problem. This way seems to work.
But my problem comes when I build the solution with Master - x86, as stated in the blog entry. The output is generated but if I try to execute the exe files that there are in the Master folder I get:
Nothing happens, this is, any app is loaded.
A error window appears showing that some dlls are missing.
Am I missing anything in the solution or it's just that Vuforia doesn't support desktop apps currently? If it's the second one, will this be possible in the near future?
Thanks in advance.
NOTE: I've read before this answer but it's from 2015 and I want to know the current state of Vuforia support.
