Overhead spike of 46.2ms when profiling on Android!!!
Hi, everyone
I'm profiling my game using my Galaxy Note 3, it it is running perfectly at 60+ FPS but sometimes i get some serious random lag. While profiling, i have seen an overhead spike of 46.2ms starts to appear randomly while the player is moving and i guess it is the cause of the lag.
It is the first time i try to profile my game, so i came here to get your advice on what should i do in order to be able to find what is causing that overhead spike?

I can't believe that i have found the source of the issue!
The source of the issue was Wifi...! Yes wifi, i have connected my device to my PC to profile my game but something weird happened which is that the profiler did start profiling via wifi but not USB!. I disabled wifi in my device and tried to profile again via USB and the magic did happen, i'm only getting an overhead of 7.04ms and lag disappeared!
Seems like profiling via wifi isn't efficient and will not make good results...
Good catch @Database!!! I could have never thought of the WiFi as the culprit for the huge overhead! I was profiling on an Android phone and had about 70% of Overhead. After reading you answer, I switched back and forth between USB and WiFi active profiler, it became quite evident that the WiFi profiling caused this extreme amount of overhead. Once again, good catch! and thanks!!!
Hello! You fool! I love youuuuuu!
