Screen resolution, scaling and UI size (Small on mobile)
Hi, I'm making a 2D game with 16.9 aspect ratio, and when I build on windows (1920x1080) or test mode (1600x900) the scaling seems fine.
But on my android device (Nexus 6P) which has a high resolution, things get smaller (quality is fine tho).
So how can I fix it? objects look smaller and UI does too. For UI I changed the scaling option (to Scale with screen size) but still small.
Should I use SetResoltuion? is that usual or what to do to have the same scaling as in 1920.
UPDATE
Setting resolution Screen.SetResolution (1920, 1080, true);
doesn't do anything.
I also need to know, how can I set max resolution to 1920x1080.
Which UI scale mode
do you use on your Canvas scaler
components?
And I suppose you have set 1920 x 1080 as reference resolution ? Have you tried to play with the $$anonymous$$atch
slider?
If you want to test the result without compiling to your mobile, the Game window allows you to add a new resolution preset ins$$anonymous$$d of "Free Aspect".
