Adding audio not working (error: System::init or System:setDriver was not called)

Hey, so I'm trying to add audio to my pistol when a bullet is fired, I've tried importing a .wav sound file I downloaded, and I get the error shown in the picture below, I've even tried exporting the sound file through Audacity as different formats supported by unity (ogg, aiff, wav, mp3) , and I get the same error, it does this with other sound files I've tried importing as well, any help would be much appreciated thanks!
