Hello! This might be a dumb question but what is the best way to learn c# in mono? I'm still learning .net but you know I'm just curious!

There's nothing different between Mono and any other SDK environment. Just get a book/follow tutorials on C# Unity development, and you're good.

If you want to learn base C#, then it's a bit more of a challenge, since most C# books assume you are using VisualStudio which includes a bunch of Windows libraries that you won't necessarily have access to.

I'd recommend sticking with just using Unity & C# and learning that way. There are some basics you're skipping over by using Unity, but those will come as you get better at coding with Unity.

well just watch your Unity tutorials, and when you do so refer to the all Generic C# aspects of Code by searching about it. I do it all the time.

Pick any best Game dev tutorial you want and watch it.

i suggest 'Sebastian lague' and 3D buzz
